Chaos!
How does it begin? When does it end?
We recognize it when we see it, if we
are in it, but how does it begin?

With a smile, a wink, a gentle word.
Mutual attraction, shared dreams, 
slowly building trust, doubts slipping away,
until one day, his is the voice you have always heard. 

Then the doubts begin, and you push them aside,
convincing yourself, you misunderstood, 
forgot, doubts left unspoken, ignored, 
because you have opened your heart too wide. 

Doubts build, fueled by rumor, gossip, 
until your heart is torn in two.
Who to believe, when you know he has lied, 
just not how much. Do you trust him? 
Your mind in turmoil, what to do?

This is Chaos. Chaos of the soul. 

But just as the Mighty Phoenix is reborn from
the ashes, so too, can a heart heal, find peace,
and begin again. To smile, to wink, to find a friend,
walk in the moonlight, stroll on the beach.

Out of the Chaos, 
into the light.
Rebirth of a soul,
a heart, ready to love again.
